Physical shredding: the item was mechanically shredded. The shredded material was sent for metal recovery through EDI's approved downstream vendors.
Verified wipe: all data on the item was erased with certified software, and an erasure record was produced for its serial number.

Every load is given a lot number when it is received in Orillia. The receiving report, the settlement report and every certificate for that load carry the same number. If an auditor asks what happened to a pickup three years ago, the lot number is the thread that ties it together.
Certificates, proof of insurance and workplace safety coverage are sent on request.
